We operate on-demand when we have a crew on site, OR as demand warrants, providing fast-service meals from 5pm-on, either in the lounge or you can order "to go." We also can provide lunch sacks for crews on the job site.
Our full-service kitchen operates on a seasonal basis. Shown below was our July 4th menu for the 2026 season. This is typical of what we have to offer, available either in our adult beverage lounge, or as take-out.

We have a full-service kitchen which operates on a seasonal basis, Memorial Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. IF we you are considering working for us, and we hire you, we will provide space for your RV, if you have one, with water and power. If necessary, we have some limited housing, such as our camper or a small room. If you think you might want to work here in Alaska this coming summer, please contact me.

We have a VERY modern kitchen with a 14-foot hood, three fry stations and much more.
This was the kitchen as it was in the process of being cleaned-up one more time following the last day of operation for the 2025 season. We will reopen again by mid-June, 2027.
The caboose can be used as the serving station for morning coffee, home-baked pastry, & juice. It may also be set to take orders for the kitchen, adjacent the Copper Rail Depot Bar.
We are 3 1/2 hours (200 miles) from downtown Anchorage; 2 hours from Valdez; 3 1/2 miles to McCarthy, which is the destination of most of our overnight guests. This property-- Nicolai's Mine Camp -- is within a half-mile of the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, largest in the nation.
